While we’re pretty sure the best way to get to know us and what we’re all about, is to come by and visit us in person, we understand that you might have some questions before you come.
Here are some of the questions we get asked most frequently:
What should I expect when I visit Savannah Life Fellowship?
Savannah Life could be described as a lot of things…but the description that probably fits us best is just a family. You know how every family has a crazy Uncle Bob and a grandma who can cook like nobody’s business and a fun cousin who makes everyone laugh? We’re kinda like that (well maybe minus the crazy uncle…maybe).
We’re just a group of people who love God and have found our way to each other and decided to stick together while we do this thing called “life on earth.” We laugh together, sing together, cry together and pitch in and help each other when times are tough.
It may sound cheesy but it really is the truth. None of us are perfect and we take each other as we come. As one of our members said in service recently,“That’s just how we roll, man.”
We’d love to meet you and serve you some of grandma’s cinnamon rolls. And we promise crazy Uncle Bob won’t bother you too much.

What’s available for my kids?
We really treasure our kids at Savannah Life. We see them as little believers who will one day be the leaders of this ministry and they are loved and cared for as such.
They are always welcome in service with you, but we also provide fun classes for kiddos from birth to 11 yrs old during weekend services. Our students join with the adults on Sunday and they have their own Bible study and fellowship time on Wednesday nights.

What is your pastor like?
Pastor Gary Hicks is genuine, kind and funny. His leadership provides direction, vision, and wisdom to our church and he has a sincere heart for God and His people.
As well as many years experience as a Pastor, he’s also a former high school basketball coach and still loves hanging out with our teens when he can (he’s even been known to initiate a mean game of paintball on occasion).
He likes to fish, play racquetball and cook but his first choice is always spending time with his family. Check out one of his current messages on our Media & Messages page.
